Created by Toronto mom Nicole Kingston, the guide was born out of firsthand experience navigating OHIP, EI maternity and parental leave, hospital choices, daycare waitlists, and postpartum support. Information felt scattered, outdated, and overwhelming. Nicole Kingston is the founder of Toronto Baby Guide, a Toronto-based parenting educator and speaker.
After spending countless hours researching pregnancy, birth, and baby resources for Toronto parents, Nicole realized there was a major gap in truly local, easy-to-understand information. Toronto Baby Guide was created to simplify the process and give parents confidence during one of life’s biggest transitions.
Nicole regularly speaks on maternity and parental leave, OHIP coverage, daycare planning, and preparing for baby’s first year in Toronto.
